Atlanta, GA. – Oct 1, 2009
Augmentity.ORG today announced its first scholarship award to 20-year-old Kevin Engledow.

Augmentity.ORG is committed to being a leader in the community and is focused to improve the world one person at a time by creating a better community environment for all.

Kevin Engledow gave up the summer job that most college students use to pay for their expenses to help make the world a little better in Mombasa, Kenya. He volunteered his time in a third world country and Augmentity.ORG recognizes this type of true community leader. Kevin spent two months in Kenya and chose to work at the Calvary Zion Children’s Orphanage http://www.czchildrenshometrust.org for one month before spending his second month volunteering at the Port Reitz Hospital.

Kevin shared his experience and journey via blog http://kenyankevin.blogspot.com/ please note the stories and pictures show the hard reality of this third world country. When asked why he chose the path he did Kevin answered, “About three years ago, I decided that I wanted to do something really grand and volunteer my time in a part of the world that most people don’t want to see. I wanted to really get to know the culture and help in any way possible.” Kevin is a junior attending the University of Illinois majoring in Integrative Biology and plans to attend medical school upon completion of his undergraduate work.

Augmentity.ORG’s commitment to developing tomorrow’s business leaders, like Kevin, is very strong and great focus is placed on making sure the next generation has the resources to carry on that legacy. Augmentity, Augmentity.ORG 's leading benefactor, has a rich history of corporate responsibility, and has evolved to meet the complexities of today's business world and the challenges of a larger society.
